In order to make the inner workings of goverment more transparent and accountable, we worked with the New York State Division of the Budget to release this explorable State budget.
This deployment of the Budget Breakdown product visualizes New York State’s budget from 1994 to 2015, comparing spending by Functional Area, Fund Type and Financial Plan Category line over time.
