In order to make the inner workings of goverment more transparent and accountable, we worked with the Committee for a Better New Orleans, with support from the Sunlight Foundation](https://sunlightfoundation.com) to release this explorable City budget.

This deployment of the Budget Breakdown product visualizes the City of New Orleans budget from 2007 to 2015, comparing spending by Fund, Results Area and Department over time.

This visualization was launched as a companion to the Big Easy Budget Game that lets you experiment with the City’s budget.
